The stitches used are in US terms – e.g a single crochet is where u insert the hook, yarn over pull through 1, yarn over pull through 2
This project is really simple and you can pretty much use any hook or yarn for it!
I’ve listed my recommendations but as its based off of measurements you can pretty much use anything.
I’ve included photo’s of 2 pieces I’ve made from this pattern, the brown one uses a 5mm hook with dk yarn (womens institute), and the green one uses a 6mm hook and I doubled up with dk yarn (so used 2 colours at the same time) to make it chunkier.
You also need tapestry needle & scissors.
